Almost a Week...

It's almost a week, and things don't seem to be getting noticeably better. I guess this is the unknown period of time when we don't know how long things will take.. One hundred percent recovery is known to take at least ten days, to nine months.

The eye doctor was successful, in that he suggested a different type of eye gel/ointment. It seems that maybe she was slightly allergic to the previous drops. Who knew eye drops could contain preservatives?

She's gotten a few cool things. Mariann, the receptionist at USA Volleyball, made a wonderful meal and muffins for us. It was very nice of her to do that. Everyone at work also sent flowers and a cute bear with an eye patch just like my mom's! My grandma--Cheri--sent a big box of goodies for my mom as well.

To top it all off, grandma Joyce and grandpa Gordon are on their way to visit, in fact they should be half way here right about now! They should be pulling in tomorrow around noon. It will be nice to have them here for the week, so I won't have to do all the work for my mom. :P Then I will be going back to Iowa with them next weekend.

Hopefully we will see some progress this weekend, and thanks for checking in again. We'll try to update a lot.
