Things haven't really been changing that much, except... There is, slight movement, in the left, side, of, her, face. And, a Little bit of a wrinkle, on her left, forehead, when she "scrunches" her face. Duh duh duuuh!!!
So maybe these are the good signs we are looking for in the whole recovery process.
Our weekend has been, well, uneventful. We went shopping a little, but nothing too major. And we also worked on our front yard--like planting flowers and landscaping. Heath fixed a dead spot around a tree, and dug-up a man-eating cactus.
We don't have any pictures :'( but just wanted to review a little.
She also wants to thank everybody for the wonderful notes and messages. Its wonderful to have so much support!
She's not going to work this week either, or at least until the eye starts blinking. So feel free to send her e-mails, anything on Facebook, I'll be helping her check.
Thanks
~Layne

hey, Dode and Layne! I think this is fabulous that you are helping your Mom, Layne. I hope some day either of my girls will be as generous with their time and as considerate as you are!!!! And the fake eye for her patch just shows that your Tori's daughter!!!!
Hang in there Tori...hopefully things will be "looking up" very soon....sorry, i couldn't help myself. And yes, that's as good as it gets with me! Enjoy your time and relax...the only books i have to recommend is the Twilight series...i never knew vampires and werewolves could be so seductive....where were these when WE were teenagers?!!! We had to settle for possessed Marlena on Days! Take care and know that we're all thinking of you!!! love ya!!! The Thompson's
I just checked your blog for the first time and saw what's been going on. I am so sorry to hear that you're going through this! You are the type of person that will get through it with optimism and laughs. You're a very strong person, and with the help of Layne and Heath you be 100% in no time. I've said a prayer that God will give you strength and peace. I asked that He lift you up and bless you with a speedy recovery. I'm thinking of all of you!!
Love,
Lisa
